Tranny/Gear Box Question/Help

I have a 2006 gcoupe 6mt with sport package. When driving and shifting from 1st to 2nd and 2nd to 3rd, I feel as those is double clicks when going into gear, not all the time though. Idk if this is normal and me just being myself of if it is a problem that I will fall into later down the line. It somewhat feels as like im hitting gears, not grinding but yea. If anyone can help me out that would be great.

Thanks

1st to 2nd on the g/z are known to be notchy... especially in cold weather... alot of the Canadian guys run Amsoil Tranny fluid and said it really helps in the cold weather.

i have the same thing, not sure what the exact problem is, but i'm hoping that when i finally get around to change the fluid it will be smoother. my clutch is also extremely slow when its cold. you can tell the fluid is close to its freezing temperature.

when its warm my gears float through like butter for the most part.

a synthetic fluid should help a lot i presume.

Advice from the cold, rainy left coast....=)

Switching to Amsoil or Red Line synthetic trans fluid will help since they're not effected by extreme cold weather. Give it a try, your trans will thank you....
