Yeah, I tried the set from sears and the set from harbor freight. used it with an impact gun. it didn't work =[

 

If I were to drill out my stud, can you give me a link on which drill bits to buy? I'm not sure which ones will be strong enough to drill through a stud.
How long did it take you?
Also, any tips you can give me before I drill out my stud would be great!

I'll try that out before I drill it out. I'll let you guys know when I do

 

The wd40 is probably making everything slip. I would stop using that.

Did you try the smaller socket method?

 

yeah, i tried smaller socket method. and i did everything without wd40 first. then i tried it with wd40.

 

Dude.. maybe you should try a place that specializes in wheels and tires... like Firestone or Les schwab..

 

that gator grip will not work.. the socket is not big enough but IRWIN makes a product for your exact situation that you can find at home depot.. it is basically teeth that grip the bolt and as you turn to loosen the bolt the teeth grip tighter.. i used it to take off the rim locks that i lost the key for.. it should work
