Do you know if there's a recommended shop in New Mexico? I threw mine into the trash too when I attempted to make them work (not from Him...) this past weekend. The ones I received (from a different place) were not even close on sizing...didn't fit for crap! I won't be wasting my time trying to do it again...I have tinted a few cars, used a heat gun, squeegee & soap/water solution, but the overlay didn't cooperate...

Did you ever find somewhere to get your overlays installed? I spoke with Bat and he said he doesn't have any installers in the Chicagoland area. I think if I do it myself I will mess them up. Anyone around Chicago have experience installing them and want to make a few bucks?

may want to contact Umbra. on their site they say they do taillight tinting, they are also run deals with chicagoz.com so they may have experience witht he bat overlays as well. http://www.umbrawindowtinting.com/Um...t_tinting.html

I been meaning to find out with them how much they would do the overlay for since I am planning on getting an overlay as well at one point.

No I couldn't. He emailed me back saying there wasn't any in the Chicago area too. Makes me iffy buying another set. I wanna use his overlays already.

I gotta say they are hard to put on. I tried doing it, I had to cut it, and the curve was impossible to do without wrinkles. I managed to put it on and it looks good from far away but from close up you can see many imperfections and wrinkles.

I went to Umbra for my windows and they did good work, but when I asked about the overlays they didn't seem too enthusiastic.

Can you really uninstall them and install them back on?

I have a bad crease on mine and would like to fix it.

Could you do the same?
