Any Ideas?

http://cnj.craigslist.org/cto/1566627054.html

I hope I don't get bitched at for making this thread, I am going to be buying a white 2003 G35 tommorow and am really excited. It is stock right now and I am working on a budget of about $2,500 for mods after it. I really like head turning cars and I want everyone to look at it when I roll down the street. I would love to find a bunch of cheap accesories to make it stand out. I will edit the thread with any good ideas that people post. So far I have this.

-Powdercoat Rims

-Spoiler

theres lots of stuff under search. but powdercoating seems like a bad idea unless you really like those wheels. they are honestly not very nice compared to what you could get for around 1000 to 1500 including tires if you buy used.

Spoilers are nice as well. make sure all of your upgrades are tasteful
.

i would get some new wheels, the new spoiler then spend about 5-600 changing out ALL of the fluids in the car if they have not been, an make sure you go with the best of everything, i just did a differental, tranny and cooling system flush, car feels much better now. I also did a proper fuel injector cleaning (not seafoam), seemed to improve power. replace your air filter as well, i replaced mine at about 27K miles and it was pretty bad already.
maybe

Thanks alot man, I know what your saying about tasteful mods, I dont wanna turn such a beautiful car into a piece of **** ricer. I would love new wheels but I just don't have the money for them right now, I'm gonna get new wheels when I buy my snow tires. How do you think those rims would look powdercoated though?

you think so? I just don't got $1,500 to put into new rims and tires. How much do you think I could sell the factory rims and tires off the car for? Tires are in great condition, they are almost new

will theese rims look too small compared to the tires? Even if they are painted black? I feel like that will make em look smaller?

i sold my 17's to my cousin to put on his altima. i had them pc'd before i sold it to him since i had the hook up. honestly, they're not too bad looking. if that's what ur budget calls for then do it. it's ur car and up to you. but i'm sure ur budget will increase some way. as far as upgrades, i would do some 06 headlights.
