I love the stock exhaust note. As some have said in this thread, it was a selling point for me.

It would sound better if the driveshaft didn't click with it as it accelerated.

The stock exhaust tone on our cars are about as good as you're going to get for a car that is under $45K MSRP new.... especially for something that's not a V8.

I just wish it was louder.... but that can be accomplished with a Cat-Back system.

The stock exhaust on these cars sounds great. It was definitely one of the selling points for me. The only cars that top it in my opinion would be the exotics.

Rice is your mexican neighbor with the 92 Honda Civic hatchback with no silencer pipe...every time an ******* drives by with one of those things and makes my ear drums explode, I feel like chasing his *** down and beating the **** outta him.

Back to the G, this is my first winter with her and its pissing me off that I can't roll my windows down and hear her growl like a quiet but naughty lioness.

it sounds great. Very distinctive. I can pick out a g with my eyes closed just by the sound.

The negative is there are so many out there it's become common.

I went fast intentions a year ago. Totally changed the sound but the vq growl is still the base just meaner.

Berk hfc's are going on tomorrow. We'll see what the next level does.

As much as I love my Bassani with aftermarket cats, y-pipe, z-tube and Stillen intake and MD spacer, I still miss the sound of OEM exhaust. That was beyond the shadow of a doubt one of the seeling points on the car for me. Seems like OP, you're on your own on this one. I had an old POS Civic pull up next to me when I was with a honey, I let him speed up and pass by with his fart can and she said, "I think that POS was trying to race you". I just smiled and said nothing.
