I wasn't hating on younger people being able to afford or drive a G35, I'm only 21. I was simply stating that someone who is looking to buy a car like the G which is stock fast by comparison, and supercharge it right away, probably should take their time. Get in something slower and learn, which is apparently what he said he is doing.
Everybody has that lead foot when they first get their license.

And he thinks its funny. ![Dunno](https://g35driver.com/forums/images/smilies/dunno.gif)
And why are you looking into buying a first year model with a twin turbo already installed? If anything you need to be looking for something that is bone stock with the package you like.
Why do you feel the need to flaunt your money around? Since your first post you've been talking how you're getting HUGE cash, and now you drop the amount that its going to be, and that you want to start going to meets and such?
I'll be laughing at the news when someone busts into your duplex and steals all your ****......
Side note... this icon looks like someone jerkin 2 d's

I will try to help... you have been teased enough.
Yes the G is an amazing car. Yes it will turn all of the heads of your peers and get the attention that you probably want. However, if you are wanting to make it fast, you will HAVE to pay....
The G is heavy. I mean really heavy. If you are wanting occasional power that you can flex at the strip, you want to go turbo. That is your best bet for raw power. Now, with that said, it will be very expensive to see similar results that your brother might see. Your looking at a conservative $4k on that alone. Then you will need tuning and misc. parts here and there to make it reliable and suited for your driving. With that said and done, it still wont be a total screamer at that point. Last time I checked the thread, the fastest consistent passes on a mild tune for a turbo are around mid 12s. That is not a bad time at all but I am sure there are better and easier cars to tune for what you want.
Lets get past the speed point and on to the beauty of the car. At this moment, I agree with you, this car is beautiful. But let's be realistic. We are car guys and new cars will come out that are sexier and more powerful every year. Eventually we are going to want something different. I understand the desire to have the baddest car on the road and I have dumped way to much money on previous rides. Let me give you some advice. Only spend money on modifications on a perfectly good car if it is your dream car. You will never get that money back.
You have stated that you are coming into money soon and I am sorry to hear about the price you payed to be receiving it. Let's get real. That amount of money is a big deal to anybody. The issue is that it is a one time gift for you. Having dropped out of school will make these next few years extremely difficult for you. Believe me, I have friends that are still dealing with that decision. Then you said you are wanting to by an income property. Won't that eat up a lot of your initial budget? Even if you have help with purchasing the property, you will be charged with all of the maintenance, up keep and insurance for yourself. That is a lot of money. A lot. Please research this, peoples lives will be in your hands. Not to sound down on your plan, but Real Estate is not really booming these days. I am certified and I don't even mess with it anymore.
Now, please don't think I am telling you to not get your car. We would love to have another contributing member to these boards and if you did become a mechanic, we could all benefit from your future knowledge. But please consider the next few years for you and your girlfriend. Get your GED and save as much as you can for a higher education. When you become a Real Estate agent you will need a nice 4 door so enjoy this while you can. Just be smart.
