Never give up buddy.

I live in Texas so I have no clue about the scene there but Turbo can be much faster and more powerful. You have to be a bit more cautious with a turbo setup though. It's not plug and play like a supercharger.

Sounds like you have a good idea of what you need vs what you want. I hope the best for you man and good luck with the G35. You will love it!

seems you got some sense knocked into you via the members on here. Congrats on your decision, just make sure you find one that doesn't need a TON of maintenance or replacement work (unless you plan on being off the road for a while). It may pay off to shell out a bit more money to get one with low miles, single owner, and no accident history. GL to you though

I'll give you a little heads up. For a 2006 EVO IX GSR, as I am very knowledgeable in the EVOLUTIOn or just mitsubishis insurance will be a Joke if you are the primary driver. May I suggest the BMW 335i. That thing moves similar to the EVO because the N54 motor is a twin turbo'd, just the weight is felt in cornering.

Just a note, if you get a EVO go for a IX because the 10.5 hotside turbo w/ the stock mivec cams is better than the evo for making power.

If you have that much money, head over to an Infiniti dealership and look around at some used G's or find a reliable/clean G from somewhere else. If you've done some research on the forum, you might have found that amazing place called Classifieds on here. Here's something you might be interested in: https://g35driver.com/forums/g35-car...5hp-618tq.html

It's kind of far from you but with that large amounts of money that you've been talking about you should have no problem driving down with someone, taking a bus or flying down and driving it back. I'm only 17 and don't mean to be a dick with this statement but only buy a tuned/modded car if you're going to respect it. The person who has worked on it for countless hours and put aside so much time into it wouldn't want to give it off to an 18 year old who will carelessly abuse it, even though in many posts above you have stated that you won't. Good luck with your search bud.

I dont think you want to get a nice car as your first car. An accident can happen to anyone at any time but, when you are an inexperienced driver its more likely. Plus not mention you tend to do alot more stupid things when you are younger ie. driving around high and drunk. Save your money kid
