I understand what your saying, but its not like I went and picked brands with a history of being garbage. I chose brands with a great reputation (maybe not on this particular forum) and kept my spending within reason. It's hard to justify $1300 + on exhaust(for a few extra hp) when a great deal comes along for something half the price. I'm not worried about installation, I know quite a few mechanics and will get a very reasonable price.

^Understandable. Got my first mods off of a totaled G, payed about 45% of MSRP for the exhaust, HFC's, ignition booster, upper/lower sway bars and UR pulleys. I lucked out on some items.

Ok Tyler, Magnaflows y-pipe back exhaust is a single 2 1/2" system that doesn't increase HP and sounds no better than OE. I had one sponsored so I know what I'm posting. The largest restriction in the exhaust system is the OE cats, so HFC's are a much better option. Headers, you spent $600 if you can't install them yourself it will cost you another $400 to $500....that's at least $1K. Headers might give you another 3 to 5 whp, is that worth a grand? So you spent in the neighborhood of $1600 on mods that won't give you more than 5 whp, that's getting screwed....sorry....you asked!
