The 5AT did not come with the rev up engine that the 6MT has. Otherwise, the cosmetics are the same for the 06 5AT and 06 6MT.

 

Drove a 6MT 06. I came from a Whippled Cobra, so everything I test drove felt slow. Figured I would just get a 5AT and save myself the frustration. Do the 5ATs go for less than the 6MTs? I know on GTOs, the manual fetches around 5k more. Might not be the same on G35s? My first guess is that Nav, 6MT, rear spoiler package, and black interiors fetch more money?

06-07 6MT coupes come with Sport front bumper and Sport side skirts

now you can get the 06-07 5AT coupe with sport package which comes with sport front and sides

 

^So essentially you can get them the same.

 

What is in the sport package? Rear spoiler, front bumper cover, side moldings? The G35s I have seen without a spoiler just don't look right...

 

6MT models only cost $600 more than 5AT models

navi, spoiler, premium package do add up

I meant more in terms of supply and demand. Some options are more desirable and dealers demand more for them. You don't think the black interior raises the price used? Not that the tan interior is not attractive...
