Very, very nice IP coupe! Since you don't have a REVUP motor ('05+years) all you need is MotorDynes 5/16" ISO spacer. This will allow you to keep the OE cover and no one will be aware of this mod. To compliment the spacer you'll need a K&N drop in filter and Z-Tube for added air flow. There are several short throw shifters on the market that'll make driving more fun. ***** are a matter of personal taste, do a SEARCH under shift ***** you'll see what I mean. Test pipes, hate to throw up a red flag but in most states it's illegal to remove your cats. Unless you're lucky enough to live in Florida where laws aren't enforced or maybe they don't exist....
Everything that I mentioned above is available thru Riverside Infiniti (sponsor) 800-919-8130.

I'm planning on doing this next time I detail the car. I always hated how they were a faded white turning yellow. I never had the guts to remove them, is it just a matter of peeling them off?

Man you got a clean car. I thought I did well with my buy, 03 w/ 38,000 miles. But mine is a Caribbean Blue
I still have not seen another coupe in CB since I've bought the car. I'm so easy to distinguish haha.
As far as your OP, Tony from Motordyne has shown multiple graphs and dynos of the MREV2 on a base DE motor. It makes power, just not as significant as it does on the REV-UP motor. Search around a little bit. That question has been answered time and time again.
Also, the easiest way to remove the molding is to heat it up with a hairdrier, then get a piece of fishing line, or floss and separate the molding from the panel. Then get some Turtle Wax bug and tar remover and clean away the goo. Here's a video. You also might want to get some Meguiars scratchX and clean the area after. It will blend everything together, i.e. light swirls, then clean paint from under the strip. Just my $.02!!!
This is of an Subi, but same concept applies!

Either way, keep the G clean! Welcome to the forum!
