SO im a noob, yea yea yea, and ive had my Coupe about 3 weeks and 2 weeks ago it snowed in ATL and there was a huge ice patch on the ground that i was on attempting to do a UTURN, so i put the car in 1st and roll on and the car loses power!!!!
I have a BIG WTF on my forehead and i try again and again and again, so the last time i rev to about 4500 rpm thinking i bought a lemon and fried my clutch pissed mad and upset and the same thing happens!
then i turn the VDC off and Drive away........but that was funny *** _h_T!

wow, i don't know how people in ATL live but i live in canada, ans if you don't know how to drive in snow, you don't drive for 5 months lol.
but you have a disadvantage being on summer tires as well, although i talked to a fellow canadian who drove a 6 speed G with summers in 4 inches of blowing snow with some ice underneath, i was slipping around even with winter tires.

Just as a point of referance, my toy is a 2008 Z06. Chevy equips the car with a very sophisticated "Active Handling" system. There are many different modes in which you can drive the car, and the amount of interferance depends on which mode you're in.
I drive mine constantly in "Competitive Mode" which allows a bit of fun until the nanny steps in.
I just bought my 06 G35 coupe two weeks ago, and today I had a chance to take it to one of my "playgrounds" I drive my Vette on each Sunday. A nice series of twisties that are speed limited at 20MPH, I usually take them at 70MPH in the Vette.
I must say that I was impressed with my new dd! I was taking them at about 50-55MPH, BUT...the VDC on this car is really restrictive!!
As soon as I reached down and shut that stupid thing off, the real fun began!
Overall, I'm very happy to have replaced my old dd, a Miata, with my new (to me) G35!
No more "Why do you drive a chick car" remarks! lol

^^^yah, i've never drove a miata personally, but i just couldn't....i'd be to afraid of getting called out lol.
nice toy btw, i've always been a fan of vettes, sat in a zr1 during the summer a couple guys in my area have em' beauties, but i love the convertibles, which zr1 obviously doesn't come in.
