Thump noise in my trunk?! WTF?

hey guys, for a while now ive been getting this thumping noise from the rear of my car, when i go over a bump, speedbump... etc.. i ussualy hear it while im driving slowly (like a parking lot). Its sounds like the noise is in my trunk. But i cant tell. Does anyone else have this problem?

I searched like a **** but nothing seems to be the same thing im talking about.

BTW. Recently i lowered the car.(But this noise has been going on before this was done)

Also I had my rear driver side axel changed. Not sure if theres a wrong way to install a rear axel lol ?

yeah, the shocks i would bet on. my left front started clunking as soon as i put my df210s on and they only had like 44k on them. i would also check the surface between the strut mount and the body itself....we've had issues with them having a noise due to some welding slag left on the surface which doesnt give the mount a completely flat surface. we grind the 2 surfaces down smooth and spray paint them over and reinstall everything. but def sounds like a strut or struts.

umm i'm running factory shocks and they are around $200 each unless you can find some good cheap used ones.....but i think you can get a set of tokico shocks for a good price on ebay.....tear it apart to see if it could be the strut mounting surfaces first......
