Are cars are almost twins haha, my tails are overlays and a little lighter.

OP you can always get the overlay for the third brake light that says infiniti when you brake it smokes everything except infiniti

I've heard that the VHT Nite Shade does pretty well on it's own with the finish, but I hit it with 6 coats of dupli-color automotive clear coat. It gave it a really nice, clean finish.

What do you mean centered? Lol... is the emblem not already in the dead middle of the trunk?

By the way, anyone know the best way to go about doing my rims gunmetal? I'd like to do it myself if I can, but I want it to come out as clean as possible.

Not left or right but centered top to bottom, then don't rattle can them. Have them painted or powder coated like I did.

How much did it run you to have them powder-coated?? I'm working on getting a quote now.. I just don't wanna get ripped off..

did you use a rattle can for the clear? can you use the grafitti remover to get the clear off too? i want to be able to take it off if i ever need to (like when i sell the car)

Yes... you should have read through the thread and you would have seen that. I said a few times already that the graffiti remover will take off the clear coat and the VHT as well. You just spray it on, let it sit, and wipe away.

i like the painted grill and emblem, but hate smoked tails. Makes the car look a little tacky

i did read through... you just said duplicolor clear i wasnt sure if it was a rattle can or not. i also wasn't sure if the graffiti remover would take off clear

just did my tails though... looks good they're curing now
