Talking Its good to finally meet you all!!

Well i finally did it.

I have been a proud Z owner for a while now but in the back of my mind i always wanted a G35 more. So i saved and saved and finally pulled the trigger last night. I am happy to announce i am the new owner of a fully loaded 06 with nav and less than 49K miles in absolutely pristine condition.

I was able to get out the door for 22k, im sure there are better deals than that out there but this was by far the best i could find in my area. And supposedly there going to give me service and tires at cost so i hope to get a little bit of that money back. Do you guys think i did ok on the price?

My overall plan was to buy my G now in the winter for less and sell my z in the summer for more, its so simple it cant fail!

I’ve been a member of my350z.com since i bought my Z and am now obviously a new member of g35driver.com.

Ive been reading every thread i could find here and i just want to say how knowledgeable i think you guys are. (especially Gary ) I will try not to ask to many noob questions since i pretty much know the Z inside and out, but please forgive me if i do.

I know everyone loves pics (although its bone stock) but try to enjoy

Thanks to everyone in advance for there input and im glad to finally be able to interact with you all!!

You woulda been banned if you hadn't posted pics!

It's got the sport package so you're set for a while! You could have done a little better on the price for those kind of miles, but you did get nav so that's a plus. But I think you came out alright for an 06! Just watch the Oil Consumption, or has it had the engine replaced? if not, take it to an infiniti dealer and have them do the OC test anyways.

Congrats on the new car, what are you plans for it? Did you trade the Z in or do you still have it?

I cant afford to get banned yet, i have too many noob questions for you

i still have the Z, hopefully it will be sold in the next couple months. Im only paying an extra $50 in insurance for both of them so i dont mind the wait. Since my G has more mileage i plan to drive the Z untill it sells. Although on the other hand, the G is under a 1 month warranty so i should probably be driving it as much as possible in case something goes wrong.

i kinda blew my modding budget on this. One day i would like an HKS exhaust, test pipes, grille, maybe volks nothing to crazy. im going to keep it tasteful. I was sort of thinking about powdercoating the 19 in forged rims black in the meantime. Does anyone have any pictures of how that would look in any color?? Ive painted a few sets of rime over the years myself and they have turned out pretty good but would like this done professionally. Let me know if thats too ricer

Those are nice plans. Since you have a 350z, I'm sure you already know about the ztube, spacer, mrev2, and all that good stuff. Personally, I've never been a fan of completely black wheels. They look as if they're just really dirty, especially from far away haha. That's just my opinion though . I'd suggest powdercoating them in gunmetal. There's a pic of that floating around the forum. If I weren't at work I'd find and post it myself, but I'm sure someone else knows what I'm talking about, I think it was on an OB coupe.
