How deep of a puddle was it?
The air filter had to be totally submerged in water to suck
in water. If this is the case, then it sounds like your motor
hydrolocked.
My best advice is to put the stock intake back on and
call your dealer. If they see the Injen intake on than they
will now what caused the problem, and that means no
warranty.
Good Luck.

Might want to try resetting the ECU and re-starting it.

I'm not sure if G's have this, but if there is a fuel cut-off switch you could reset that too.

I'm sorry but the filter does NOT have to be fully submerged to suck up water. I've seen hydrolock on 5 different cars (friends/customers), and that is not a true statement. It's like saying a vacuum cannot suck up water unless it's immersed in a cup of water. If you run a vacuum hose over some water, it will suck it up.

Johnsprm69,
Does the car crank? When you try to start the car, does the motor crank. If it does, I would next check for spark. Remove a plug wire at the plug and using a screwriver, see if you are getting any spark. If the car will not crank, the motor is hydrolocked and you will need to remove all of the plugs. Remember, rust will start very quickly, so don't procrastinate. If this is more than you can handle, take the advice and replace your CAI with the original intake and play dumb when you take it the dealer (this comes very easy for me!) Please keep us posted on what was the root of the problem! Good luck,
Phatnine11

I don't understand why the dealer would be covering this under warranty? If it is infact locked you are looking at an insurance claim not a warranty claim. No dealer is going to assume that the car hydrolocked by some kind of manufacuring deffect, especially when the intake well above the bumper. Cross your fingers and hope that its just a we circuit somewhere.

When it cranks is there any knocking? I've seazed a motor B4 when my street flooded ( not the G) and it started up but knocked like hell. Whole motor had to be rebuilt.

Be careful! Same thing happen to me with my 300zxtt. I drove through a rather deep puddle during a rain storm. Car stalled. After cranking engine for several minutes, the engine (crankshaft) seized. New engine from Nissan $10,000. Lesson learned for me was, avoid deep puddles, never install an intake that is a foot off the ground and get expert help.

Your car sucked in water no question about that. Take the first advice and have it towed to the dealer. Don not attempt to start the motor again this will only cause more problems for you. Water getting in to the engine is never a good thing.
