Aftermarket clutch installed w/ embarrassing chatter
Its a Stillen Clutch and flywheel kit on an 07 coupe....have been told it might be the throughout bearings but not sure....anyone having/had the same problem. Suggestions??????????
if you had done a search you would learn that this is because aftermarket flywheels are single mass for our cars (stock is dual mass). the chatter is normal and there is nothing you can do about it aside from switching back to a stock flywheel.
Yeah man. Hate to say it, but you're going to have to get used to the chatter. That or keep the clutch depressed whenever you're in idle. I've had JWT clutch and flywheel combo for about a year now, and while the chatter can be really annoying, I like the way the parts perform.

I have a Stillen/ACT setup in my G and I only get chatter if I'm really on the throttle at low RPM's (below 1500). It's chattered maybe like 5 times at idle and all I have to do is pump the clutch to get it to go away...
