Thoughts on this TT G35 W/ JWT700....Deal or No Deal???

Ive been back in the market for a TT G, and I have ran across 4 currently in the US that fit my needs and budget.

I know this one has been on the market for some time now and has drop in price to a fair market value.

With that said, does anyone know much about this car, build, owner or anything that could help me with my decision. You can PM if you like to keep anything off the boards.

Thanks in advance

I don't know anything about the owner but I can tell you based on his mod list that the motor looks solid great for a DD but also a great track setup. Although personally I wouldn't buy a car already built like that to each their own.

Also GTM is a respectable company and they seem to have done the work and tuning, that may make it a solid decision.

I have already built my own, but I never keep a car long enough so I would never build a car from the ground up, you just lose sooo much money.

I still need to talk to GTM about this exact car. Just concerned about it being on the market for near a year.

honestly that car is money. its been on the market for so long because people didn't want to pay his original asking price *which i feel was fine in the 1st place* and now that hes lowered price he probably just wants it gone cuz its probably collecting dust. i say go for it

Any car can pass smog with the right amount of $$$.

Anyone to the OP,have you contacted the seller yet? I'm sure he'll be willing to answer all the questions pertaining to the car. If I read correctly he's the first owner so he should know all and see all about his own car. Ask him all your questions and then if you have any suspicions on the build ask the boards or do a search.

Looks nice, but Im also one of those that doesnt like buying someones heavily modified projects. Good luck though, if it works out it could be seriously fun purchase.

I have been watching this car. I considered it when he was looking for $33k. But like many others say, its a dangerous game, buying an already heavily modified car. With more toys, comes more problems. Make sure you have a GREAT performance garage near by who specializes in the G35. You are gonna need it. Also, don't plan on using this car as a DD. Its most likely not going to be a comfortable ride with that much giddy up. He needed to do some serious suspension work to keep those wheels on the pavement. Think about what you like about the g35 and then think about what your willing to sacrifice. This is not a normal g35. This is a bad @$$ machine that is going to be a second girlfriend. It will give you the ride of your life and leave you satisfied but when its not feeling good its not going to move, its going whine and its gonna cost a lot of $$$ to make her happy.
