2005 G35 Coupe OEM Wing Removal?

I tried searching, though there are like 2 threads about this, but no one really responded to them.

Does anyone know how to remove the OEM wing? I couldn't get to the 2 screws that are all the way in the corner.

Thanks in Advance.

Just so you know, if you do remove the wing there will be holes, unless you plan on filling them or putting the spoiler back on.

Yup, i do plan to fill the holes after i remove it. I don't really like the "winged" look anymore.

^^^oh

You don't like it you love it.

ps. best idea is just to swap trunks with someone who doesn't have a spoiler, makes the whole process a lot less complicated.

swapping would be easier if i can find someone who would do the switch. I haven't had the luck yet. Someone's always a step ahead of me.

but yeah, if anyone does have a DIY, please let me know. I really don't feel like paying the shop 50 bucks or so to take my wing off.

I cracked my 2004 G35 Coupe spoiler and watched it replaced today at a body shop. As others mentioned for your case, it'd be far easier to swap trunk (your one with spoiler for one without) vice trying to take your spoiler off and patch it up (too many holes to mess with).

The spoiler was very hard to get off because of the double-sided tape (even with a heat gun and constant but gentle prying to prevent buckling of trunk). Even the Infiniti dealer said take it to body shop since they had more experience doing it and had seen too many trunks messed up.

I've been told a bunch of times that the '06 wing WILL NOT cover '03-'05 holes. Someone correct me if I'm wrong though.
