i dont think that the 17k packages is worth what the equipment that the dealer has put and if i am not mistaken that grubbs installs superchargers keeping factory warranty as well..so i think this car is not worth more than 43-45k.

Re: Supercharged Coupe on eBay!

They don't. They will install a SC or TT, but if the engine detonates (and the cause is directly linked to the FI), then you're screwed.

Re: Supercharged Coupe on eBay!

i dont know why i am thinking that someone's supercharger did do some damange and stuff, but i cant seem to remember where i read this, in some forum and grubbs is helping..now i dont know if i am totaly correct, but i totaly remember this..

ok if grubbs does it and these guys are doing it, it doesnt seem any different, y would these guys be able to provide warranty and not grubbs, makes no sense to me..but then again anything is possible..but somehow i belive that grubbs does...

Re: Supercharged Coupe on eBay!

Feel free to contact Grubbs and ask them if they will install FI and provide a full warranty, including performing warranty work that results from an FI installation, such as replacing a blown VQ. They don't. They will, however, tell you this upfront, so anyone having this done knows the risks. If you're interested in FI, you might want to check out my350Z.com and look under the FI forums- very good information about the whole procedure and the potential problems that may result (several blown engines.) They also routinely do group buys on beefed up internals (forged pistons running at a lower compression, forged crankshafts, etc.) Very good information.
