New 2005 G35 owner !!! Help!

Hey guys I just purchased a 2005 used g35 with 80000 miles. I know its alot. It already has new custom dual exhaust and a kinetic intake system. What should be the next thing I do for a performance boost? The rest is stock I believe.

Also I want to improve the sound system. What is the 05 g35 coupe audio deck size?

Thanks fellas!

Get a MD Plenum spacer. Awesome bang for the buck. Is your car a 6MT or a 5AT? If it is a 6MT get the spacer and the MREV2. Just a spacer won't net anything. However when in combination with the MREV2 lower intake manifold it will work miracles. You could also get some high flow cats if it doesn't already have them. Those help a lot. Search around. Check out the "Which mod should I get for my coupe" thread. It's a sticky at the top of the V35 Coupe forum. Hope this helps!

Ok, while this thread is still here, i have a question on the MD spacer and the mrev2. I also have a 2005 coupe 6mt meaning its a revup. I want to know first of all if I should have both, or if I only need one. I have heard that the 06 needs the MREV2 in order for the spacer to even work because it has something different about its engine compared to the 05.

My second question is if the MREV2 or the spacer will change reliability or void warranty or change fuel economy. Is there any damage that can be done by a properly installed MREV2 and or Spacer. Does it change the oil consumption situation at all, I'm not too sure if I have it or not, but will be checking it shortly.

Final question, what is the best spacer to get, I know of three different sizes: 5/16, 3/8 and 1/2.

I have a z-tube intake but not a k & n if that makes a difference.

You also need to consider if you live in a snowy part of the world, if you do you need to look at the ISO Copper MD. I have the Mrev2 with 5/16MD Iso on my 2005 g35c 6mt. I have taken my car to the dealer several times and have never been hassled and I have the extended warranty. I seem to have a problem with pushing the right pedal so my mileage has decrease.

Thanks footballmania for the post. It's a 6speed I live in southern Cali. La area. What kinda of pricing am I looking at for that? Any chance you know the size of the audio deck? I wanna put a touch screen in there since my model doesn't have navigation. Im gonna some pics of my car to make sure I didn't improperly classify what I have done. Excuse my noobness. I will learn !
