check engine light
Re: check engine light
Have you done anything to the car recently to trigger the light?
Any exhaust mods, high flow cats, intake?
I would just take it to the dealer and have them run the code and see what the issue is.

Re: check engine light
i have no idea but you should take it to the dealer, or to a local autozone (if you have them) as they'll read the codes for free. you could also do what i did which was buy my own odb-ii reader for about $100 on ebay.
i assume you've been changing the oil all this time (at least once and perhaps twice by now) and its level is currently ok?

Re: check engine light
Check engine light doesn't come on to prompt for maintenance.
You will get a prompt for oil and filter on the navi screen if programmed for it.
Could have been triggered by something simple like a loose gas filler cap....
Whatever it is, it must be warranty....have the dealer check for a code and reset it for you.
