Do you guys have any recommendations on what should be my first MOD?

Start with a new intake. It was my first mod and it is fairly easy to install.

 

intakes don't really do anything. I wouldn't change the stock cold-air intake for another warm air intake.

Maybe you can just buy a new high flow filter.

 

I know it doesn't do much HP wise but it made my G sound MEAN.

 

would you guys recommend the nismo CAI? is it any good?

 

CAI gets dirty quick and during rain season, it can ruin your motor if it ingest any water.

The stock intake is already a cold air system. Just get a new filter. Some people use K&N but be careful with the oil spay.

 

so just a new k&n filter? i heard many people buy a ztube to go along with it, what exactly does the ztube do?
