Clutch Pedal sticking
hahahaha. nice timing.
I must say all this has me worried about my clutch, too. Bu hey, if it happens, I can just put some lithium grease on it I guess.

Hi, I just got a 2006 6mt with 46k about 3 weeks ago. I had that issue once when i frist got the car. However it has not done that since and I am in Las Vegas where the temps have been 100+. So i don't know what to do.
You're obviously still under warranty, so once you can reproduce it more often bring it in. Mine didn't start sticking until it started getting hotter in the summer. It seems like the problem many people are having is with the DOT 3 fluid, so see if they will use DOT 4 when they replace whatever cylinder(s) they decide to replace, or if they say no, ask if you can bring in your own fluid.
is ot always going to be the master cylinder or will the right lube do lol? mine is starting this **** and i just got the car 2 weeks ago. i think my warranty is good till the 30th though. factory warranty...
how long is the bumper to bumper? i know the powertrain warranty

Dealer is replacing my clutch master cylinder. told em about the sticking problem when i went to have my tires put on. they are covering it under trhe few days left on my standard used car warranty.
how much does this job typically cost when out of warranty? im wondering how much i saved...

This started happening to me a few months ago (6MT sedan). Exact same problem as everyone else, clutch pedal gets stuck near the top and I have to pull the pedal up with my foot for the last 20% of the way.
First time I took it to dealer, they "lubed" the pedal. Didn't fix anything.
Went back again the second time and they replaced the slave cylinder. Problem went away for about 5000 miles, then came back in full force.
Third time, the dealer replaced the master cylinder. Now it doesn't stick every time, but occasionally it will still stick. From what I've observed, the problem doesn't seem to be temperature dependent.
After reading about others' experiences here, I went out and picked up a bottle of DOT4 brake fluid to flush out the system. The fluid in the reservoir already looks clear and fresh, but it can't hurt to flush again.

THE DEALERSHIP IS ONLY TRYING TO MAKE MONEY. Remember that. Don't ever take the dealers word when you have an issue with your clutch, they will always try and make you replace your clutch and that could cost up to 2k at a dealership if you are stupid.
I had the same problem, it was a hot day in South FL, it goes away. No worries

Lowest price I've seen for the Exedy aka OEM clutch kit (pp/disc/bearing) is about $260. Labor should be around 4~6 hours.
