I know insurance costs are relative but how much are you all paying for insurance (Full Coverage)?

And how much more should you expect to pay with a coupe, rather than a sedan?

I'm 22 btw.

I'm 20 and my insurance payment is $125 for full coverage on my 06' coupe in central Kentucky. Considering that my 92' Honda civic 4dr was like $175 when I first started driving for liability, I think I'm getting a pretty good deal.

Don't expect any huge drops until after you hit 25.... and then again after 30.

There's WAY too many factors to consider that affect one's premiums.... but the coupe/sedan factor is fairly insignificant.

your age...first 3 yrs being the worst
loss and claims exp
and rating symbols of your vehicle

those are your key items.

If it's possible to go on the same policy with your parents the cost s/b considerably less. Car insurance will go down when you get into your mid to late 20s....something to look forward to. The Auto Club has some great prices if you're on your own!

I'm 24 with 1 ticket for no DL on my motorcycle and I pay $174mo, alot of insurance agencies offer there version of Defensive Driving which can help lower your ins. as well. But you have to ask for these programs b/c they don't come flat out and tell you.
