Piece of advice, don't pour all your $$$ into just purchasing the car. You'll incur maintenance AND unexpected repair costs too. You might be happier with a Miata or an Integra: cheaper car to buy, less expensive insurance, maintenance and repair cost, and mods are less expensive too.

Yes, the G35 is a lot of car for the money and it's an awesome machine, but if you're living on the edge of your budget you're going to be miserable.

True...But lets try to prevent what happened in that thread.

Not trying to revisit that thread. Happy to hear that in general the dilemma has reached a more promising conclusion.

Regardless, i still think our G35's with the 19" wheels are sexier looking.

+1... that and i chose the g35 over any 3-series because they are easier to maintain on your own...

Get a 92 Buick Century. That's what I had in college and it was amazing.

parents have everything else taken care of,

all i gotta do is put a good chunk in for the car its self.if anything they'll help me with a lil more, so i can get a nice car thats 20k. they want me in a car that will last me through college, and not someone else's problems

and no to a 335 for 20k?
http://www.bramanmotorsbmw.com/VehicleDetails/603240673
25k right there and with some negotiation and 10k down involved im pretty sure it would be 20k

and yes im not 16 yet. big woop im getting my car when i turn 16 and thats this summer not to far just a couple months, just asking for some advice. i need the best bang for my buck

don't get a 335i, it will be a money pit. why don't you look at a civic si, i drove one the other day, and dang they are pretty fun cars. You can get one with real low miles for 20k, and it will last a LONG time.

i like the civic si and all, but i dig more other cars like the ones i listed, and with bmw its certified pre owned, and warranty till 100k miles, i like that lol. and dude 300 hp twin turbo, no offense to you guys but the 335 walks by a g35, its a tough decision, 3 series or g35, gotta drive em.

now if i had to get a new one it would be a civic si or a MS3

You are 15.

Do you really need a car with twin turbo's?
