now if i had to get a new one it would be a civic si or a MS3
If you want somthing to last you much longer you should get one of those.

as far as looks, i like the civic si, but as far as power the MS3. The MS3 has 263 hp at 5500 rpm and 280 ft lbs at 3,000 rpm. the civic si, only has 197 hp at 7800 and 139 ft lbs at 6100.

So obviously the MS3 has more power, but doesn't look too good IMO.

The choice is yours, if you want somthing more reliable then the civic si is the route to take. If you want power then go with MS3, and then have great tuning capability since they have turbo from the factory.

25k right there and with some negotiation and 10k down involved im pretty sure it would be 20k

and yes im not 16 yet. big woop im getting my car when i turn 16 and thats this summer not to far just a couple months, just asking for some advice. i need the best bang for my buck
Nope. Although BMWs, esp. their twin-turbo'd cars, are super fine to drive, you don't know how much potential that beauty has raping your parent's bank account in the long run. You'll be driving it for at least 6 years, no?

Who cares about the best bang for the buck? Everyone has their own budget to spend and their own criterion to satisfy. Find something you truly enjoy that fits within your budget and live with it. Never let anyone tell you that your car/kind of car isn't good. That's like saying your taste in food isn't good. It's personal preference. If you can live with the 335i/328 in the shop and racking up thousands in repair, then by all means, go for it.

Lol. Since you're 15 I'll fill you in. You're not going to walk into a dealership and get 5k off a used 25k car. You may get 1-1.2k off if you're lucky.

the dealer's im looking at have 3 series stacked everywhere, as a matter of fact they have way to many, and with this economy they HAVE to sell the cars to make space, if they don't there just gonna stay there, so im pretty sure they could give a good deal, this dealer was asking 24k for a 328i 5 months ago, with a little bit of negotiation his dad got it down to 21k, and then told them 19,900, they said no, he walked out the dealer, then they called him the next day and told him to come and get it.

Err, sorry if this comes off as innappropriate but you are looking at your first car and you are 15. Dude, this thing is more than likely going to get used and banged up like a thai hooker at half price. Save a couple grand, buy something you can beat the **** out of at half the price and impress your folks with a smarter choice. I'm not saying you'll destroy a G35 but I'm thinking maybe your friends won't care as much as you do when you give them rides nor the person next you in the school parking lot when they open their door late for class. Don't even bring up giving the cute drunk girlfriend a ride home to be nice and they puke in your car. Just sayin ..

If you do get a G, learn from other people's mistakes and don't take the VDC off ... EVER.
