New to the G!

Hey everyone,I just bought a 2005 G35 DG coupe from my dad because he is planning on buying a new car.It only has 9,000 miles on it!amazing huh!well I worked a deal out with him and I'm buying it from him for $15,000.So I just wanted to introduce myself and if I can get tips to affordable mods I can start working towards! Thanks everyone and can't wait to get this project started.

Congrats and welcome to Driver! Start to think about the direction you want to take the car (performance, looks, or both) before you start modding to heavily. Search around the forum, there is a lot of good information on Mods from intakes to body kits. Good luck with your mods bc once the mod bug hits it hits hard!

^Don't buy an intake.

First question to answer, is the car fast enough for you? If the answers, no, see the forced induction section on my350Z.

Don't bother trying to mod with bolt ons.

Oh boy.... OP i suggest you delete that last post. The whole forced induction question is going to get you flamed worse than Courtney Love on comedy central's Roast.

Welcome! Congrats on the purchase! Yea I was all about adding stuff for the looks on the G, but now I really want to get the MD plenum spacer for performance since its fairly cheap for what it does. You can never stop adding stuff to the G.
