Do you really want to go through the headache of selling a car by having to explain "I swear there's nothing wrong with it, I traded my old car for this to sell for some extra money." If I were a potential buyer and I saw how recent the car switched names, I'd call BS and think there's something wrong with the car.

I dont understand how you would trade a car that you know "everything" about for a car you know nothing about... what if there is something wrong with the FX that he is not disclosing... then you are stuck with a crappy FX.

^x2
let me say this in simpler form " save your time, save your money, save a headache, and most of all save your car!" you have NO CLUE what could be wrong with that FX"

but theres a chance everything you have planned will go smoothly...
and there is that GREAT chance your gonna hit some speed bumps by the time you get that extra money (if you even end up getting any extra)
IMO just keep YOUR CAR dont do it let him sell HIS CAR cuz he knows everything about it so take it off your mind.

Man it sounds too good to be true. I don't understand why this guy would want to downgrade. I mean the G coupe is a great car in every way, but If i was the FX owner, I would sell the car then buy a G coupe and have some extra $$s left over for mods or whatever. Something isn't adding up...

Be careful, but good luck!
