My car stole 200$ from me

So i had a 200$ check in the cup holders yesterday and I was planning on going to the bank but never got to it. I closed the sliding cover over the cup holders and when i opened it today the check was gone. I know for a fact i didn't move it and my car wasn't broken into. So im thinking it got hooked on the bottom part of the sliding cover when i started to open it, and fell in-between the cover and the cup holders.

SO if i take it to the dealership i'll be willing to bet it'll cost 200bucks just to have them take it apart and get it for me. So is there any DIY on how to take the center cup holders apart?

Yes i feel stupid, very stupid ha

Thanks
Dave

I highly doubt that your car ate the check. Search again.. pockets, wallet, etc.

I usually drop stuff like that between my drivers seat and the console. It takes moving the seat and a screw driver to fish it out, major PIA! Big mistake going to the STEALERSHIP for something like this....=(

+1

It's almost as if Apple specifically designed the iPhone to somehow just barely fit there, and also fall in an attitude that guarantees it will fit in the gap.

your best bet is to find a DIY for removing your console. The check wouldve followed the door retracting with it into the the console itself. Not under the cupholder insert

Wouldn't it just be more convenient just to ask for a another check. At least you didn't loose cash.

Thumbs up You guys will LOVE this!!!

I used to have the same problem with dropping things between my seat and the center console. It's such a PITA trying to fish things out from that little space. I LOVE this thing! It's something they should've invented years ago.
