The At-a-Glance and Specifications "tabs" are now active on the Infiniti G35 page... Here's a link. I don't think they were active before today.

Re: 2005 Specs
You think the auto coupe with 17 inch wheels will have an aluminum center console?

Re: 2005 Specs
It says Rosewood trim will be available from Febuary for coupe. shoot...
It also says '8-way power driver’s seat with manual adjustable lumbar support'.... No power reclining seats?

Re: 2005 Specs
Who knows?

I have read so many conflicting reports on the 05 . . .
I think we will all have to wait and see.

Re: 2005 Specs
I wonder how much lower the sport-tuned suspension will be compared with the performance tire and wheel package, and I also wonder if the suspension is simply the NISMO package??? I don't really like the al. trim, but I do wish I had the fully powered seats. Either way we got some damn good looking cars :-).

Re: 2005 Specs
It's not that weird. They may have changed the cams to gear it towards high end HP. The old Acura Legends did this, with the Type II having higher HP but lower torque than the Type I.

Good find. I just checked yesterday, and the specifications page wasn't done.

Re: 2005 Specs
its interesting to see that the 2005 auto coupe might actually be slower than the 04 given that the specs hasn't really changed but its 64 pounds heavier. 3422 vs 3486 lbs.

And even though the 05 g35 coupe 6mt has an additional 18 horsepower but it actually has 10 lb less torque and its 77 pounds heavier ( 3435 lb vs 3512lb). Although the 05 g35 coupe will probably have a higher top end power than the 04 due to the extra 18 hp. It'll be interesting to see who gets off the line quicker because of the extra 77 lbs and 10lb less torque.

Re: 2005 Specs
I was noticing the weight thing myself. It's interesting how the 6MT is 26 pounds heavier than the 5AT. I thought cars with automatic transmissions were normally heavier than manuals....

Also, I thought 2004.5 cars were ULEV2. It says on the web page that the 2005s are LEV2. What happened to the 'U'? Are we going backward with emissions?

Re: 2005 Specs
"The G35 Coupe 6MT model receives an additional 18-plus horsepower and a red line increase to 7,000 rpm compared to the automatic transmission-equipped G35 coupes’ standard 280 horsepower and 6,600 rev limit, bringing its power to 298-horsepower. The extra power comes from the addition of electronic exhaust valve timing and numerous structural improvements to the engine block. Torque is rated at 270 lb-ft for the G35 Coupe and 260 lb-ft for the G35 Coupe 6MT."

Electronic Exhaust Valve Timing and structural improvements? Anyone got some more info on these changes? The structural improvements and exhaust valve timing does not seem like an easy retorfit to 2004 models. It seems that there will not be any easy 2005 to 2003/4 swaps that we can do to get some more power.

Re: 2005 Specs
Why is the Torque lower on the 6-Speed?

Re: 2005 Specs
seems aluminum console is standard on all models as per the previous press release... these specs do confirm that the coupe will not get the intelligent key...
