Re: NEW! 2005 Coupe Pics

They could have at least painted the calipers to make it look sportier. They're ugly compaired to the Bremos.

"i'm glad I got the 04..

for the 2005, no smart key for the coupe, no brembos, and IMO the wheels don't look very good. i like how the clock isn't covered anymore by the navi and the metal trim is better."

Re: NEW! 2005 Coupe Pics

Just a question, why would it matter to you if the 2005 doesn't come with BREMBO when you list your 2005 below, and its a AT not a 6MT, so you won't have of gotten BREMBO regardless. Don't get me wrong, the 2004 are good too, and they have some advantages, but I'm sure the new brakes works almost as good, plus it’s covered under the warranty. Of course I'm gonna miss out on the BREMBO by getting the 2005, but I'm not going to be meshin' out on my G35, the payoff for the 2005 are greater. More HP, nicer interior, more features, and more luxury. Lets just see it if it will have less rattles, less cheap parts...I'm sure Infiniti knows of all these issues and tried to fix them on the 2005. Power nav screen, power steering wheel, power recline...man...these are nice touches....I think the only thing that the 2004 got over the new 2005 owners will be the BREMBO.

Well, I'm glad to see I'm not missing much with the 2005. I'll happily keep my '03 based on what I've seen. They didn't change much, and the things they changed didn't need to be, and the things that needed to be changed, they didn't.

Those wheels are interesting. They look like the wheels from my '02 Z06 morphed with the wheels from my '03 G36 6MT.

2002 Corvette Z06, Electron Blue/Black, headers, intake, exhaust, 380 rwhp

Re: NEW! 2005 Coupe Pics

IMHO, I feel that Infiniti is rushing out the 05's coupe. They couldn't hold back both the AT and the MT until december so they decided to release the AT first with only minor changes. The memory seat and Intelligent Key's should've been offered in both version of the car, and not only the sedan. Why offer it on one and not on the other is beyond my understanding. Can we expect a 2005.5 AT with these improvements? One can only hope.

I honestly hate it, the coupe and the sedan!! They took away the sporty looking nature of the car and now it looks so rounded and non sporty!!

Re: NEW! 2005 Coupe Pics

Have to agree, prefer '04 18" rims. I thought they were 19" rims at first cause interior pic have the aluminum pedals designating a A/T coupe sport. But size of new rims look more like 18". Can anyone clear this up?

Thanks!

Re: NEW! 2005 Coupe Pics

You know what I could see? If Infiniti had put out the this 2005 version of the coupe in 2003 and then put out the 2003 right now people would be saying the exact opposite.

"I'm so glad that I got the coupe with aluminum interior and my rims look better. So what I don't have brembo's, they still didn't put out an intelligent key so there!"

If you are happy with your car be happy. Let other people buy their car. I really don't see what the deal is, I'm sure if you really want a 2003 or a 2004 version somebody is willing to sell you theirs...........

I love it! IMO the rims look nice and gives the car a more aggressive stance. For the people that don't like them you can always get a new set of rims.

But I wish they would've updated the headlights with bi-xenon projectors.

Re: NEW! 2005 Coupe Pics

Now 7.0" POWERED pop-up nav screen!!!! yeah!!! POWERED tilt and telescoping steering wheel with exit and entry, POWERED recline seats!!! YEAH!!!!

I can honestly say that I love the exterior of the G35. I really cannot say much for the interior, compared to other cars out there within the same price range. I was hoping that Infiniti would improve the interior, which they did with this year and it just happens to be the perfect time for me to get a G. I really wanted the Brembos, but hey you gots to give a little to get a little to keep the price about the same. I wish it was an option still on the 6MTs, this would be nice. Oh wellz.

18 more HP, don't know how much money you will have to spend to get this on 03-04, but I know its somewhere in the thousands. So as you can see, the payoff is the same amount as getting the BREMBOS. I don't know the price differences...but its not like the new 05 owners are getting ripped off or something, they are getting more, with little extra cost.

Re: NEW! 2005 Coupe Pics

i think the 05's interior suck. Its much worse thatn the 04. I love my 04 when it compares to the 05. Only thing im envious of the 05 is the HU. I want to retrofit the HU into my 04. Other than that, i can care less about anything else.

The great 10hp increase is not big thing at all. In fact my mods i have in my car has already given me a 10wph increase not a 10hp at the crank increase like the 05. A 10hp at the crank really translate to a 2-5hp increase at the wheel meaning better intake or a combination of a little better intake and a little better y pipe or just better ecu updates.
