I'm looking at getting a Spacer. A 5/16" Spacer... I've found a bunch of them but they seem to come with different parts. The cheapest one comes with the spacer and no bolts

The next comes with bolts

The next comes with bolts, Spacers, and a Lower intake gasket as well as what looks like vacuum connections and clamps. What are the vacuum parts for?

Then Finally you have the full kit that looks like it comes with some sort of Throttle body spacer that possibly would connect to something with a vacuum hose, I GUESS>>>>>?????



What is the difference in all these?

I cant see the pics at work but a break down.
You need the bolts because the spacer raises the plenum and oem bolts will be to short. the coolant bypass is not necessary.
The final is a iso thermal throttle body spacer.

Its not a throttle body spacer, its a throttle body heater. The other parts in the motordyne set up is for the coolant on/off. The coolant from your system runs into it and its used for cold weather use when your TB could seize up.

I recommend getting the motordyne with bolts, reason being is you will more than likely overtighten a bolt and you will hear a snap noise. Its because the stock bolts dont have a lot of thread to hang on to, so if you torque it too much it will most likely strip it. If you manage to do that to a few of them you can use the bolts provided. They reach well past the bottom of the lower plenum so you can utilize the entire thread.

If you live in the South, I would recommend the Motordyne 5/16" isothermal kit. It contains their basic spacer and the Aramid gasket that installs under the lower plenum to help cut down on heat transfer from the engine to the plenum.
You don't need the coolant bypass valve or the throttle body heater. Look here:
