Re: is it worth it?
I just recently traded my 03 5AT sedan in for a 04 5AT coupe. I really thought a few months later I would kick myself for not waiting for the 05 coupe. After seeing all that has been done I'm content with my 04. The changes just seem very minimal for the coupe. They slapped on some new 19s that I don't really like and had some minor changes to the interior. If I was going from a sedan to a sedan then I definitely would be trading shortly. Just doesn't seem worth it for the coupe atleast if your going for an AT.

No, it's not worth it to trade-in. The first 2 yrs are a car's biggest lose in value, the idea is to keep it for 4 yrs or more so that the depreciation evens out (lose less in yrs 3 & 4, lowering your cost per yr of owning the car).
Let's say you trade it in now & lose $7 K. You buy the 05, first yr you lose another $7 K. Second yr w/ it you lose $5 K.
Scenario 1: keep 04
Yr 1 $7 K
Yr 2 $5 K
Yr 3 $3 K
Yr 4 $3 K
4 yr cost: $18 K
Scenario 2: get the 05
Yr 1 of 04: $7 K
Yr 1 of 05: $7 K
Yr 2 of 05: $5 K
Yr 3 of 05: $3 K
4 yr cost: $22 K
Remember that the 05 6MT has 18 more hp but also 10 lbs-ft less torque. 19" performance rubber but the 05 doesn't have the Brembos. In a way, it kind of boils down to paying $4 K for a slightly improved interior & a car that's 1 yr newer.

Re: is it worth it?
Not worth it. I wasn't too happy when I first heard about planned performance upgrades on the 2005, having bought my 6MT in 5/04. Now having seen the specs ( more HP, but heavier by about 75 lbs, less torque, no Brembos, etc. ) I'm definitely glad I've got the 2004. Sounds to me like Infiniti boosted the HP (which will likely only be noticeable at high RPM-if at all) for marketing reasons rather than as a true performance upgrade. I'll be very interested to see the initial road performance tests and will be very suprised if the new model offers any real performance advantage.
