Just change your tranny fluid and upgrade to something like Redline. Mine is still notchy, but a lot better with the Redline.

shift from 1-2 at or under 1k rpm and should shift smooth.

Thanks for the suggestion man! So yeah we need 3 quarts for our tranny right?

Mine shifts just fine. The only problem I was having last summer was the clutch pedal was sticking 3/4s of the way out. Fixed though. It does get a little touchy when in heavy traffic on really hot days, I can feel that it does not like the traffic situation. lol

Only problems I have are 5th gear sometimes grinds usually in high rpms. I will change transmission fluid hopefully it will go away.

You get used to the clutch it is is a bitch. Here is a tip for smooth gear changes, dont fully depress the clutch, depress it a little past the engagement point instead of depressing it all the way. I use this method and I get very smooth gear changes.
