damn will it really ruin my tint?
i had some grease, but was too damn lazy to take it in.

 

Had my windows done at the dealer about a week ago and so far--not the slightest bit of grease. In addition, they fixed the tick noise I was getting when first closing the door. Definitely worth doing.

 

gersteinp, how much grease did your windows have on them when you took them in? heavy or very light?

I would have a light smear of grease--3/4" wide and about 6 inches long along the front third part of each side window. It was definitely something I could ignore but I'm much happier having it be completely gone. Not worth a special trip to the dealer, but have it done sometime when you're there for a routine servicing. It doesn't take long and totally fixed the problem for me.
