Your buddy is right, an auto with the correct upgrades will shift faster than a manual while still remaining in boost, unlike a manual.

I'm not even gonna comment on jibberjabber's ignorant post.

I have a 5AT and plan on boosting in the future, and look good doing it.

auto holds boost better through shifting. but i heard shifting on auto is not that good on g35. Still fast none the less though.

The difference between driving a 480HP automatic and a 300HP stick is day and night, it's incomparable, it's like apples and orange, summer and winter, or Tupac and Biggie... 2 different tastes, feels, experiences.

I don't think it matters what you throw a turbo on.
BTW-I have no problem keeping up with the Z/G MT's (except the Nismo), so...

dragtimes.com. Top 5 1/4 times are all manual for the G...

You know how many twinturbo Automatic G's are out there?

Nevertheless, it's your car enjoy it. Just make sure you cover the auto shifter with a hat when you park your car. lol

Edit: I never said MT was more fun to drive, I drive an AT and enjoy it to be honest ied love my car if it was AT or MT
