Wow tony really knows his ****. I read that entire write-up and it was very informative. In fact, until I have enough money to get the MD exhaust/ART combo, I'm putting my DE y pipe back on.

Thanks I'll try and find him and ask. Does he work for motordyne and is he the one to talk to about getting the exhaust? Also on your vids you have the gamma exhaust which sounds really nice. The website only has the muffler for each side so how does that work or what did you get on that system and which do you prefer between the two and sound difference? It also says they are all interchangeable. What comes with the system when you buy it? Thanks a lot for all the help!!

Tony is the owner of Motordyne, and the one who designs the parts. So yes, he'd be best to talk to about what you want out of the exhaust.

A full system comes with the xyz pipe, midpipe of your choice ( normal or tdx), axleback of your choice (gamma, shockwave, shockwave v2, nova, vq, harikiri), and your choice of tips (4" or 4.5", rolled or cut, burnt or not). All the parts, except the tips, are connected by v-clamps which make them super easy to switch out. It too me less than 20 min to jack up my car and switch out my gamma axleback to the shockwave v2 axleback. The interchangeability lets you switch out any part of the exhaust without having to buy the full exhaust system over again. You ever get tired of the sound, just change out the axleback.

I loved the way the gamma sounded, its so deep, but it droned... So i switched to the shockwave v2 which doesnt drone, and ive grown to love the way it sounds now.

hey fab, i bet since you have the ART Pipes (built in resonators on the testpipes) now you wont drone so bad with the Gamma.
right now you have 2 pairs of resonators (ART Pipes + V2 Shockwave) from the Front of your exhaust setup to the Back.

just a thought.

Yeah, Tony actually suggested I test that out when I first bought the ART pipes. I've just been too lazy to switch them LOL. Ill try it out one of these days .

Nice. Though I would still suggest trying to hear both exhausts in person beforehand, maybe at a local meet or something.

You can either PM Hydrazine, or call him directly (661) 993-5111

Someone on my 350z might have it...... I'll check in a bit.

Edit: couldn't find anyone with that combo, they all have different exhausts lol.

Yup, you just have to loosen the clamps and turn the pipes until they're straight.
