motordyne vs hks exhaust

i am looking at getting an exhaust soon and right now those are the 2 front runners (hks and motordyne) with motordyne ahead now that i heard some clips. what is better on the motordyne....the shockwave or the tdx shockwave? im putting the basic stuff on the car as far as stillen grounding kit, motordyne 5/16 iso plenium spacer, stillen z tube, pop charger. wanted to hear what you guys had to say about both these exhaust...sound, power...ect. to me the motordyne has an aggressive/louder stock tone which i like. comments welcome...also need some advise about getting hfc or any other addition to one of these exhausts or just the exhaust is good enough. thanks in advance

Motordyne shockwave v2 tdx + motordyne ART pipes = proven power that sounds beastly. You won't regret it.

HKS. its a true dual exhaust all the way from the cats. the MD uses the xyz which merges the pipes into one before splitting them in 2. meaning that it's really just a single exhaust split in 2.

G35 sedan w/ too much money in mods
Stay away from the pop charger especially since you live in Texas. The summer heat will kill your power.

Silencers exhaust sounds so incredible. It is the most exotic and aggressive sounding exhaust I have ever heard. Now I just have to convince myself to drop big money on a Shockwave/ART combo. It is money well spent though.

Good choice with the Stillen Z-Tube but the pop charger sucks....hot air with it's exposed filter which kills what we all love and desire H.P.! Stillens CAI is a great intake which includes a giant K&N filter which is enclosed in a box not exposed to the dreaded heat. Exhaust systems, after 5 different systems I finally settled on the best....HKS. It sounds great and it's constructed to perfection, and it a real dual system from the cats back unlike several of my previous systems. With the intake, spacer and exhaust systems installed you're going to love how your G sounds/performs....

well im stuck for now with the pop charger....i was thinking the stillen intake but i gotta wait now. after looking more im leaning to the hks. just want to make sure the sound is on par. youtube doesnt help when one clip one sounds good n then another its raspy on lots of exhaust. i need one that is going to add hp/tq + good sound not raspy plus proven in all areas. hks is a top brand just need to be sure about the sound. some sound good while others are raspy. need a deeper + louder stock tone and all that good stuff

Bump.

Any dyno's of the HKS? We've all seen dyno's of the Motordyne, just haven't seen dyno's of the HKS vs stock or HKS vs Motordyne.

+1

OP, since you have a 5AT, just get the spacer. The mrev won't do you much good.
