motordyne vs hks exhaust
i am looking at getting an exhaust soon and right now those are the 2 front runners (hks and motordyne) with motordyne ahead now that i heard some clips. what is better on the motordyne....the shockwave or the tdx shockwave? im putting the basic stuff on the car as far as stillen grounding kit, motordyne 5/16 iso plenium spacer, stillen z tube, pop charger. wanted to hear what you guys had to say about both these exhaust...sound, power...ect. to me the motordyne has an aggressive/louder stock tone which i like. comments welcome...also need some advise about getting hfc or any other addition to one of these exhausts or just the exhaust is good enough. thanks in advance
Too late! I already have the stillen gk. I'll just upgrade sometime down the line. Fab do you have a pic of your exhaust for reference so I can match it up right or know where I can find a pic of it and on the car too? That way I can just match it up by looking at the picture. Hate to just be messing with it for who knows how long
Sorry these are the only pictures I have of it installed. We didn't perfectly align them since it was just prototype testing. It helps if you have someone tell you when it's centered while you're rotating it, and to hold it when you're tightening the v-clamps.
and that the left tip is a little low. After adjusting the hanger on my car, everything lined up perfectly.

ok so everything is on and looks good. had a slight vibrating sound coming from the sway bar im guessing...rotated a little and its not as loud anymore but still slightly there. after about a week my service engine soon light came on....checked fluid levels and topped off coolant and oil...disconnected the battery and light went off...for about 2 days. now its back on again...checked fluids and they all seem to be normal. i know i need a tune soon...going to head to uprev in austin hopefully in june. i was wondering if anyone else had this come one due to putting their exhaust or mods? or do i need to take it to the dealer or wait till i go to uprev to tune it?
