What is F**ked? Please help.

So first off, its my birthday. I let my friend drive my car and there was a "wheel" in the road last night. I wake up to a crooked rear wheel on my g35. i normally know exactly whats up with my car but being a new owner, i was hoping some of you could help me figure out what this piece is that is bent so i can replace it. And about how much would it cost for a new piece or if i should just do and upgrade if there is one?

passenger side (ok)

driver side (bent)

Looks like a sway bar to me... I would upgrade to an aftermarket one.

It's pretty cheap...

you can get camber arms + toe bolts for around $160-200 shipped in the marketplace. Install of the camber arm is easy, toe bolt is a bit more tricky since you have to cut out a hole. (not that you need toe bolts since you seem to be at stock height)

lmfao at all the stupid comments at guessing. Don't listen to them. Its the Lateral arm Back. 60$

http://www.infinitiofgwinnett.com/parts-order-form.htm

Number 8. Its very cheap so don't be down!! My friend bent his too when he slid on ice and the car hit parallel to the curb. So im guessing your friend hit a curb too. make him pay for it.

Edit:

Sorry the link doesn't go straight to where i was looking at.

-Click the link
-Click rear suspension link
-Click Suspension Components
-Click Lateral Arm.

Then you can see the diagram and everything if you click "View illustration"

Just print that out and take it to the dealer.

Umm. That's a pretty stout piece of metal. If that's bent then it's a safe bet there is more damage. You can start off by replacing the piece and then get it aligned but I'd guess that more will need to be replaced. Doing it once piece at a time until it goes back to spec will get expensive.

Don't forget to get an alignment after installation.

Maybe I'm a little too protective of my cars, but I never ever let my friends drive and this is why. Good luck.
