Engine Question

I was wondering what the difference is in these two engines. Notice the oil dipsticks are in two different postions. One even has dual intakes. The one with the single intake and the dip stick on the right is my 07 coupe AT. The other is in a sedan. Don't know the year model. I was under the impression all G's had the same engine. I'm new to the G world so be easy on me. I'm still learning.

Top pic is a DE engine, bottom pic is the HR engine. DE had single intake, whereas HR has dual intakes and more power and other goodies. HR engines came in the late model Gs

no offense but isnt the DE with Manual more like 298HP or am i wrong?
And on top of that you lose about 10 torque or so making the manual having only 260 torque compared to auto which has 270...

and on top of that they didnt come out with the extra power boost for the manuals until 2005

so all 2003-2004 have the same horsepower
