don't know if this has been resolved but i had the same issue with rattling.

it turns out it was bad tires causing vibration. i bought new tires and the sound went away.

Has anyone tried the fix in the Squeek and Rattle PDF file? I have a very similar rattle coming from the rear passenger side area. Looked around last night and turned out my rear seat back was loose at the hinge. I fixed that, but I'm still getting a rattle coming from that back corner. It is particularly loud when the sunroof shade is open. Probably because the sound is traveling up the pillar through the headliner. Closing the shade is better, but it's still there.

I'm starting to get pretty frustrated by that rattle. First noticed it a couple years back, but I finally want it fixed. I enjoy having the sunroof shade open, and even with the radio turned up to a point that I feel is loud, I can still hear the rattle. Sounds much like a couple of drum sticks hitting each other.

I'm hoping to get some feedback from anyone who may have tried this before I start pulling panels off. According to the FSM, I have to pull the seat bottom out again and even the entire passenger side panel just to get to that pillar. I'm not too excited about that.
