Does anyone have any information on Nitrous kits for the coupe? I am looking for an adjustable 40-80 hp dry kit with a RPM window switch. If you have any information, please post it up here!! I went to Zex, Nitrous Express, and Holley and couldn't find anything!!! I need something to hold me over until the turbo/supercharger kits come out!!!!

You can use anyone of them but the RPM window switch you will have to use something like the one made by MSD. Have you done this before? If not be careful.[img]/w3timages/icons/smile.gif[/img] Another thing to consider is how the intake design is on the "G", will it promote puddling of fuel in the intake? Which as you know, if this happens, you will have your intake come through your hood and other internal damage....

If i dont here from u in a week i will assume ur G exploded and ur dead and i will advise people not to use NOS

don't take a risk that big with a luxury car like this and add NOS. It's very dangerous. You have a lot of power right now anyway, jeez. Just be patient & wait around for the rumored TT setup or so, maybe even the other rumored supercharger dealer add-on... hmmm

I don't mean to be a D!ck, but only people who don't know anything about nitrous say it isn't safe. Yes, it can pool, but that is why I want a switch. With a 50 shot, there is almost (i said almost) nothing that can go wrong. I helped install a kit in a friends Ferrari 348 spyder (yes, a ferrari). It was a 150 shot and he ran it EVERY weekend with 2 bottles per weekend for 1.5 years. No failure yet. We just finished installing a 200 shot on his MB E55, thought it has taken a lot of tuning to get it to run right. I was hoping that there was a kit out there that is simple and straight forward instead of trying to piece together a system like we did in the Ferrari and the MB. He is the brains behind the install, I was just there to help out. If he gets time, I know he would help make one for me, but I want to try one myself.

If I get it done, I'll post my results here, and my timeslips from the drag strip!!! I don't have money to throw away like he does, so I will be VERY safe!!!

In all honesty we dont have that much power right now(we will when we are done with our cars). I had been looking around in the Nitrious market a few months ago but decided to hold out and save that money on some other bolt ons first.

Why dont you go try a propaine setup? Any one have info on a propaine setup? I heard it can make ur car hp and torque increase by 20-35%

 

Hmm, looks like ZEX only has a wet kit for the 350Z. I was looking for a dry kit so I don' thave to worry about exta fual lines and I am also keeping the [censored] down pretty low (50-75).

What is the deal with propane? Are you joking or just crazy??? They make natural gas cars, but as far as I know, it isn't much better/worse or we would all be driving them!! They just have lower emissions!!

I know that they use propane injection on diesel engines but I dont think you can use propane on a gasoline engine. And, yes the gains for diesel engines are quite good.
