Got Into A Bad Accident =(
Hey,
So yeah, I was driving home from school (about 40 minutes ago) and I was ALMOST F*CKING HOME. I was at a light waiting to make a left turn and I checked on-coming traffic heading straight, and then I checked on-coming traffic making a right (onto the same road) and I made the turn without checking the on-caming straight drivers again! Middle of my right turn this old lady in a Contour barrelled into me (going 50).
It was a pretty huge impact, my side airbag and side curtain airbag both exploded, the whole side door is SMASHED, the sideskirt is SMASHED, the right front rim was hit on impact, threw the alignment off and scratched up the whole rim. Cops came and took care of everything and since i was literally 5 minutes from home and the car was still drivable, I just drove it home nice and slow.
I'm seriously so f*cking pissed this happened I make this left turn like 100 times a day, it was SO STUPID OF ME TO DO THIS!
I'll post pictures when I'm in a more rational state of mind.

Hey bro, sorry to hear about the accident but thank goodness you're okay. The car is repairable...
I know how pissed you are about the car but things could be way worse..

Yeah, be really glad that you're okay and so is the person that hit your car. Sometimes things like that can slip your mind.. nobody's perfect.

Thanks for the support, guys. I Just got off the phone with Allstate and I found a body shop...they are gonna tow my baby to the shop tomorrow morning. I'm just kinda nervous about the other lady's car....as this accident was my fault, I think Allstate is gonna have to cover most, if not all, of the costs to repair HER car also. =(
I just want my car back to normal, 100%, ASAP. =((

Completely safe, no pain or anything. The lady barrelled into me at 50mph and I think the G took it amazingly well. Even if I had someone in the pasenger seat, they would have been perfectly fine (but if they had their arm was resting on the door, they might have had a sore arm from the impact).
I knew that the G was a pretty safe car, I'm really impressed with the way it saved my ***. The lady hit me at 50mph dead on and I was able to step right out of the vehicle...I was shook up for like 2 minutes and then I just chilled out. The big heavy door really absorbed the impact extremely well.
I don't mean to make light of the situation or anything, don't get me wrong. My point is that I'm just really glad I was in this car for this accident.

Most important is that no one was seriously injured or worse....
The fact that you were able to walk away unscathed is a good endorsement for the coupes integrity.
I'm sure they will be able to fix your car, and if they are a good and reputable shop, you probably won't even know it was in an accident....

1st I'm glad your okay!
Now, we need to find you a good lawyer and sue the woman for being born. If she was never born she couldn't have hit you. Thus it was really her fault.
It that doesn't work, we'll hire a team that will get her to say she caused the whole thing.

Hes lucky he isnt badly hurt
Because the lady that rolled out in front of me on a red light (in my old car), ruined my g/f's life due to injuries, left me to have to deal with THAT, and injured me, isnt going to have a house when Im done with her.

sorri to hear that man...u know wats funni is that the turns or areas u go to MOST often or so used to, sumthing bad happens. i curbed my front rim SOOO bad once at my buddys house where ive parked there with no problems like a hundred times. kinda pissing. anyways hope ur car gets fixed fast and ull be bak on the road soon. if it makes u feel any better, my license is suspended and my G will be sitting in the garage for 2 months =(

Thanks for the kind words.
The car was drivable because all the wheels were still in tact. The front alignment was totally raped from the accident and I just drove it real slow until I got home (only live less than 5 minutes away from the crash site).
