My G is also the fastest car I've owned. And TBH, I can't wait to get rid of it. Not because I don't like it, I love it. But a 03-04 SVT Cobra has like 430hp stock for in the $20k range, sometimes cheaper. Which is what some people pay for the G. I'm all about HP per $, so the SVT will be my next car.

The G was a big time upgrade from a Mitsubishi Eclipse, however when I drive my dads 08 Z, that thing is rather quick. I would love for the VQ to deliver a little more torque and horsepower.. And I wish it weighed less, that it came with 4.1 gears, or that it came with the VK38DETT.... Wait.. I'm getting ahead of myself here..
Original question.. 0-60 isn't the best. But it is quicker than a lot out there. Plus the car looks great modded. That was enough for me to buy one!

wow, 5.71... thats incredible! Do you have some vids?
I did it with a stop watch in my hand. I have 245/45 R18 tires in the rear and winter 225/40 R18 in the front (I didn't have a time to replace front tires yesterday to place summer 225/45 R18s). Anyway for me it seems now that the car became slower after my rear wheels diameter became bigger. In fact the difference between 225/40 R18 and 245/45 R18 is almost one inch... So my speedometer works different and it seems to me that the gears ratio changed also... Today I was thinking about this feature and YES my car moves now like a tractor… Its strange cause I bought my new summer tires in the size that the car needs if there are stock rims… My rims are originally 18’s and I read in the owner’s manual its 245/45 R18 rear and 225/45 R18 front tires needed… Damned

Yes, the larger the diameter of the rear tire means slower acceleration.
My rear tires are suppose to be 245x40x19, but I'd prefer performance over ride quality and the ability to rotate my tires so I'm currently running 245x35x19.
