Have your G windows "loosened" up?

I searched the forum for anything on this topic but couldn't find anything. My G coupe's windows seem to have "loosened up". I notice there is more loose movement from my windows while I drive and when I close the door when they're rolled down about half ways. I never had this issue when I first bought it so I know this has happened recently. I'm sure this is because it doesn't have the door frame around the top of the window to help support it. I don't know how normal this may be with G's or if this is just a defect on my car. Has anybody else experienced this?

The windows wiggle a lot more and harder than usual. I didn't mention anything about noise.

Should've bought a sedan.

I have been a member on here for over a year and I think this is the first time this has been brought up. Sorry I couldn't help more.

Have you taken apart the door to fix/replace window motor? Can be a loose screw

ive never heard of this type of "loosening" before. Normally what happens to me on my cars is the windows start to rattle because the window frame inside the door gets slightly loose. Its usually a bolt that has come loose. However, in your case you dont have any noises or rattles...interesting issue, have you ever removed the door panel?

Congratulations....you have just been screwed by your local STEALERSHIP! You spent $250 for what, if it's not fixed take it back. Infiniti service is soooo **** poor, I can't recall another dealership that does less for their customers....

There is actually 1 believe it or not. Dryer & Reinbold out of Indianapolis....im in Columbus Ohio now where they screw ppl over. They charged like 3 hours of work for something that took 20 min. The best i got them to do was bring the price down to 180. Believe I will be driving 3hours back to Indy for anything else needing to be done.

Great car! Horrible service!

So what I have gotten from this thread thus far is that it may be a bolt tightening issue but then it may not. I know its not the window motor because the windows roll up and down just fine. This looks like it may be a little more complicated than it seems.

the hardware has just loosened overtime, it happens to all cars eventually that dont have an upper window support.....

kist take the door panel off and see if you can pinpoint where the loose noise is being generated and tighten the hardware or replace the hardware if tightening wont fix it.....

10$ DIY project......

The G doesn't have upper or side support for the windows. So yeah this shlt happens. I'm noticing it too on my driver side door. When I shut the door with the window not fully up, the rattles like it's about to fall off.

When driving, there is some type of squeaking noise. If hold hold the driver side window in place, the noise stops.

Car has 9.8k miles on it.
