Bluetooth Volume when speaking

I am using the bluetooth in my 07 G35 coupe with a Samsung intensity phone. The volume of the person I called is fine, but the volume of me speaking is too low. Does anyone know how to turn up the microphone in the 07 G35? this is the 3rd phone I have tried, and all have the same problem. Infiniti dealer tells me the bluetooth is fine.

thanks
Fred

I searched through the Owners Manual and wasnt able to find anything. Other than turning your head and speaking into the mic there isn't any other way to get your output louder haha

Searched for this issue and this was the only thread with bluetooth and volume in the subject line. I haven't really dug into this, but yelling into the mic is my only "solution" as well. Anyone else experience this or is possibly only an issue with certain phones?

i dont believe the phones matter. it's the crappy location of our car's bluetooth mic. i know a few people have tried an aftermarket mic mounted at different locations...not sure if their results were worthwhile though.

I am driving a loaner, a 2010 G37x because the dealer wrecked my 2007 coupe on the lot, but it has much cleaner sound in bluetooth, but no sunroof.

It's just a bad mic location. When I talk, I just try to face the mic as much as possible without it interfering with my driving and people hear me fine. I have noticed that if i turn away and talk I'm not heard.

I have an '07 coupe too and searched for this same issue.

As most said, I think the bluetooth kit is just average and the only "fix" is talking louder directly at the mic.

There is a thread on here about a mic relocation kit (I posted in it before). Infiniti made it for another model (M45 I think) but people who tried it reported mixed results and ultimately saying not much better.

FYI, I'm using a Samsung Galaxy 2.
