I'm soo confused about how to get a aftermarket deck to work on my 05 g35.

What do i need to buy and do to make it work?

Yes I've searched but I'm still confused

 

Did you pull the proper permits to build a deck on your G35?... wouldn't want someone to fall off the deck and get hurt while BBQ'ing Hondas from your G35 Deck on a nice summer afternoon.

 

you need to get a double din kit. check riverside infiniti for one. it varies by year...i think 03-05 and 06-07 have different interiors so check to make sure which one fits you.

You can use a double din headunit (its the bigger one) or the smaller single din headunit, but you will need an additional kit (basically a space filler) so that it will fit. It very easy to install if you buy a kit. All you have to do is connect the wires to an adapter and then to the car, and your set.

 

yeah it all depends on your car and on what you r installing if you r not to familiar just go to your local stereo place they will tell you what you need but shop around some places r a rip off

There are a million threads about the jdm controller and what is needed to change your headunit out. Go read the audio section for a while and you will figure all of your basic questions out, if you have more specific questions then feel free to ask.
