Unable to remove emblem sticky outline

I removed my emblems Today, and was able to get most of the sticky stuff off. I have tried almost everything to remove the outline but have been unsuccesful, I have attached a picture so you can see what I am talking about. I reviewed all the threads posted here for ideas and still the outline will not come off. I am aware that there will be ghost scripting but this is not the paint faded somewhere. When i place my finger i feel the outline and you can clearly see there is still residue. Does anyone have any other ideas besides the things I have tried? Am i doing something wrong. I have been going at it for atleast 8 hours on and off and I am going nuts.

I have tried:
10w 40
Goo Gone
3m adhesive remover
Hot soapy water
scraping with a plastic spatula, finger nails, micro fiber towel, credit card.
Hair dryer
leaving it out in the Florida Sun
Turtle Bug and Tar Remover

I know I used rubbing alcohol, IDK if it was the best thing to use but it worked haha

I used goo-gone and it worked just fine. Apply some on every spot and let it sit for like 10 minutes then use a medium bristle toothbrush. It also helps when the surface is hot too.

i used goo off and a hair dryer...get rubbing compound

compound or paint polish will take it off for sure. mine looked exactly like that and after a pretty serious compound and a lighter polish it was completely gone.

I used Goof-Off. Took me like 30 minutes to get that crap off.

Mine looked just like that too, I took the easy way out and had a body shop doit with what they call an "eraser wheel".
I had taken the car in for minor work and had just removed all of the badges the prior evening, it was then that they said they could remove all the crap when they were doing the other work, and being as lazy as I am, I just had them do it.
So, the next day it went in for the minor work, and I wound up having them paint the rear tailights too!
P.S. I was able to get the "glue stuff" off with Goo-Gone, but the outline of the letters etc.. didn't come off with it.

Goof off works magic. The PO had that clear 3m film on the headlights and that stuff came right off with it.

GooGone or WD40 works on removing that adhesive residue but you gotta apply with a rag and soak the area. Be careful not to scratch your clearcoat or you'll have other issues to take care of. After the adhesive is gone apply a scratch remover like SCRATCH X to remove any shadows/scratches, then wax. It's very important that you read all the posts, in this case ignore using rubbing compound which will scratch your painted surface....

Try the Goof-off and claybar first, and if they don't work, then use 3M Perfect-It II Fine-cut compound - it's pretty mild/fine so it won't scratch the clear coat.
