2008 G35 with Tien lowering springs, catback exhaust, and black gloss wrap
Real life 0-60 experience with the g35
I wanna know what y'all's 0-60s are in real life driving. Not what the manufacturer says, but what you have actually achieved. What mods were used to get there? How long did it take to get to that point? Get as detailed as you'd like. The reason for this post is because I finally tried my hand at 0-60 in my 2008 sedan and, to say the least, it was underwhelming. I did 2 launches from 1st gear letting off the clutch at 3500rpm. The first one was with traction control on and I got 8.71 seconds. The second one was with traction control off and it went exactly 1 seconds slower coming in at 9.71 seconds. Is the g35 really that slow compared to the 5.6-5.4 seconds that I've seen everywhere or am I doing something wrong? Let's hear it!
Edit: I forgot to mention that the quarter mile times are not accurate because I was only focused on 0-60 and let off way before the quarter. Also forgot to mention that all I have done to my car is a lowering kit and custom catback exhaust.

These cars are not that slow, I have had mine to Brainerd Intl. raceway, and my time slips were low 14 seconds and high 13s with trap speeds just under 100 mph! This is an 07x btw...
lol which G35? most def not the '07-08 sedan. should run 5.5 all day. i have a dragy and was actually wanting to check the times, but butt dyno says it is in the 5s ballpark.
